I love Facebook! I have recently reconnected with so many people but I only have 91 friends which I thought was good until I checked out Obama and myself and the Smithsonian (2,456 friends) can't even compete with his 6,595,501 friends.
I think that social networking sites are great for folks who are off on adventures and there isn't a lot of internet access, because then you can let everyone know what you're doing without having to write each individual person, which could take up quite a bit of time. i just wish that I had known about them when I was in the Peace Corps, live and learn.

ReplyDeleteYeah I was in the Peace Corps from 2006-2007. I was in Guinea West Africa for one year until I was evacuated to Mali. I am actually giving a couple Peace Corps presentations if you'd like to come. August 25th in Orchard Mesa at 4 and the 29th in Central at 1. If you can't make it let me know and I will bring my pics for you to look through.
